The Status of Education in New Orleans and Gentilly
Exciting news! GICA's proposal for an open admissions, technology-focused public school at Lake Area School (formerly Ganus) was selected by Louisiana State Superintendent of Education Paul Pastorek's Quick Start plan. Some 17 civic organizations, non-profits and others submitted proposals for 18 sites; only 5 were chosen. Read more here:
